This is a message written for Kim in the last days of her life by a counsellor. Kim found a huge amount of trust and reassurance in the Macmillan and Isabel Hospice charities and it seems fitting to show the heartfelt advice and support she was given. Thank you to both organisations for everything you did. “You are likely to be drowsy and find yourself drifting in and out of sleep and into moments of wakefulness which may feel strange to you now. Those moments can be an opportunity to focus on a ‘here and now’ in which warm, solid and loving relationships surround you. Kim, I have witnessed your capacity to nurture and care for those you love. I have also experienced first hand your gift to communicate in a gentle, insightful and warm manner. Because of these qualities, however alone you might feel in your situation right now, those who have enjoyed those communications are so close to you now in different ways.”
